Paul the Apostle, with the revelation of the Holy Spirit, shares these words in his letter to the Romans, Chapter 2, verse 4, “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” Sometimes before we...

BE ENCOURAGED
BY TESTIMONY
"I wasn’t raised in a Christian home. I met the Lord at 16, He revealed Himself through His love… I was very hungry. But slowly and surely, I realized there was competition with the world… I learned that I had a choice to spend time with the Lord or doing other things. I would go to Church, but my own personal time with the Lord was lacking....
When I started hearing the Word… I felt a drawing..." —

STEP 4
JOURNAL
YOUR
THOUGHTS
Think and journal your answers to the following questions to go deeper into today's scripture and meditation.
.
Why did Jesus say that He rebukes and chastens those He loves in Revelation 3:19?
.
Why does Jesus knock at the door? Why doesn't He Himself just open the door?
.
What does it mean that Jesus tells us to overcome? What does that say about our responsibility to repent?
.
Why are Jesus' words so serious for us to respond to?
Reread Acts 3:19 and Revelations 3:19-22. Think about how you have responded in the past to God's call to repentance. If you believe there are things the Lord is calling for you to repent of, lay them down and write down a list of declarations of how you are going to live your converted life. Be bold and make your faith declarations in prayer everyday! These declarations reflect your decision to love and follow Jesus with all your heart and all your mind and all your strength! They will serve as a bold declaration that you know you are a child of God and will not return to your sin! You've been forgiven! You've been freed! You're not going back! You will now live your life with a big "YES!" to God! Tell a friend! Shout it from the rooftops and allow the times of refreshing to wash all over you!
LIVE IT OUT
The key to growing in the Lord is to not only "hear" God's Word but to apply it to our lives.
